About Dr. Chelsea Brieman
Thank you for visiting my website and for taking some big steps towards your journey of self-growth!
A little bit about me…I was born and raised in the very chilly state of Wisconsin, and I’m proud to be a UW-Madison alum (Go Badgers!). After college, I moved to Chicago for grad school and subsequently earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I have lived in a handful of states since then, so I have family and friends sprinkled across the U.S. and try to visit them whenever I can. A random ‘fun fact’ about me is that I recently became a certified scuba diver, which was definitely a major personal accomplishment [and challenge] for me.
Professionally, I have had over 14 years of experience providing psychotherapy, and I have received extensive training in a number of evidence-based therapies. In addition, I’ve served as a trainer and consultant for two national ‘evidence-based psychotherapy programs’ that are designed to ensure that new therapists are able to competently deliver the treatment to their clients.
I’m licensed in New York, Florida, and Wisconsin. In addition, I can see clients via telehealth in over 40 states under the PSYPACT agreement. (You can find a list of the current PSYPACT states here.)
I look forward to talking with you soon!
