About Dr. Chelsea Brieman

A little bit about me…I was born and raised in the very chilly state of Wisconsin, and I’m proud to be a UW-Madison alum (Go Badgers!). After college, I moved to Chicago for grad school and subsequently earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I moved around a bit after grad school before landing in Florida, so I have family and friends sprinkled across the country, and I try to visit them whenever I can.

A random ‘fun fact’ about me is that I got scuba-certified last year, which was both the most challenging and rewarding accomplishment I've experienced. A new level of anxiety was ‘unlocked’ on the mask removal day, so I had to practice ALL of the things I preach.

Professionally, I have had over 14 years of experience providing psychotherapy, and I have received extensive training in a number of evidence-based therapies. In addition, I’ve served as a national trainer and consultant for two evidence-based psychotherapy programs that are designed to ensure that new therapists are able to competently deliver the treatment to their clients.

I’m licensed in New York, Florida, and Wisconsin. In addition, I can see clients via telehealth in over 40 states under the PSYPACT agreement. (You can find a list of the current PSYPACT states here.)

I look forward to talking with you soon!
